ABOUT WANDER HIRE

Wander Hire was founded by Danny & Chrissy Bennett during lockdown 2020 when the safest way to travel was in a self contained campervan or motorhome! We started renting out our trusted Rex and he was so popular he was rented out for the whole summer season and we needed another campervan so we could get away on a trip to do the NC500 - welcome Bessie.  Bessie has also proved very popular so Monty came along.  Monty is primarily our home away from home and is more suited to a one or two location holiday rather than a road trip adventure but ask nicely and he could be your home away from home for your next holiday.

We also own a couple of classic cars (Danny's passion!) that are available to rent for weddings, film & TV or special occasions and the plan is to get a nice classic classic car that we can use for weddings so watch this space!

 

Although Wunder Hire is a relatively new venture, Chrissy & Danny have a wealth of experience between them to ensure a professional and stress free service.  Chrissy has owned Crafty Monkey, a pottery painting studio, in St. Neots for over 10 years so has all the skills needed to run a successful business and Danny has over 30 years experience of working for a Ford main dealership where customer service was key and handing over vehicles is second nature to him, so be assured he will take time to show you around your hire and answer any questions you have before you depart on your journey as well as being on hand to answer any questions while you're away. Danny is passionate about vehicles and loves spending his spare time tinkering, cleaning and polishing his pride and joys.  He has also attended the MCEA (Mobile Caravan Engineers Association) course so has the skills needed to ensure our vehicles are well maintained and looked after. 

 

There's also Coco our dog who thinks her job is to provide a welcoming committee when you come to pick up your van (if you're not keen on dogs, don't worry we can keep her inside!)

We are driven by our dedication to provide great customer service, apart from Coco who is just driven by strokes!

 

As well as having all the necessary skills, we both have a wealth of experience of campervaning and motorhoming around the UK.
